Dale's Char Sheet EXPANDED 04/27/06
Created by Paul Buss. Here are his notes on this expanded Char Sheet:"
With Jonathan Dale’s
permission I have made a few updates to his Excel HARP Character
Generator.
The updates include:
- Greater and Lesser Races along with their
values from the Harper's Bazaar have been
added. Paul Buss - June 2005
- Added the tab and macro
for StatCalc which will randomly calculate 8 HARP
character stats
- 41 to 100. I got
tired of having to drag dice out to
create the stats. I created a separate tab to avoid
accidental overwriting.
- Added
Spell tab. This tab has the
basic formulas and information for adding your
characters spell information. It
is a bit manually intensive to do
but it has saved me time. It also
has allowed for more accurate
calculations of things that are often forgotten. E.g.
number of rounds, penalties
for
quicker spells, etc.
- Included
area at top of stat page for XPs. No, it
doesn't figure
out your level.
- Lastly,
I have added a few
more races based on the Egyptian mythos
and one
of my own the Org.
Information on these
can
be found on my website
at: http://www.extabularium.net/harp/

- HARP
Character Sheets (Open Office format) Updated
12/05/2006
Created by Allen Maher. 12/05/06 Update: Ready for broad use, this
update of the venerable Jonathan Dale/Loïc Joly version. It
has all of the races and professions from everything published
by ICE for HARP to date. You can also add new professions, races,
cultures etc... to customize it to your campaign.
There are a lot of cosmetic changes to this version, too many
to detail. These improve the look of the output, and should
make working with the sheet easier as well. Major Feature
Additions:
- Background, portrait space, and lots of room for other
ancillary notes. Now you don't need another
place to store all of your notes. Magical spheres, PP adders
and spell
adders,
and even
cantrips now have a home on
your character sheet. Cultural languages are customizable so
that characters
in your campaign
will have that information
updated on their character sheets from the get go.
- Equipment
Management: You can purchase equipment, select locations
and name containers, even specify whether
locations are carried or not. It can be used in between
levels and you can track
equipment lost, rounds expended, etc.
It can handle variable purchase prices and even found items
and
custom equipment.
It sorts the equipment by user definable
locations and automatically writes it on the character sheet.
- Version
Tracking: By default (though this is easy to disable)
the character sheet creates versions of itself each time it
levels up using version management.
These
can be compared to other versions, loaded, printed,
and all kinds of other goodies.
You can keep them all (20 levels sit
in a single 5-6 Mb file with all levels accessible and
comparable) or you can selectively delete levels and
even revert levels.
